Whatever it takes, Lord, make me like you...
“Change me, God!” These words have been my daily prayer since I was a young Christian. My deepest fear has always been waking up twenty years from now still the same person I am today. With the same annoying habits and petty attitudes, the same besetting sins and false beliefs – all because I refused to change. I don’t know about you, but that terrifies me.
I want to be more like Jesus. I need to be more like Jesus!
Transformation. That is my heart’s cry – not only for me but for you as well. God has so much more for us than we could ever imagine. More joy, more peace, more of Himself. But it’s not found in religion. It’s only discovered in relationship.
