This week in Thru the Word we read:
“Do
not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over
you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get
wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get
understanding. Esteem her, and she will
exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.
She will set a garland of grace on your head and present you with a
crown of splendor.” Proverbs 4:6-9 (NIV)

God is wise and His wisdom was in existence before the
world was created. Wisdom is one of His
wondrous gifts to us. Some people
discover wisdom at an early age yet others may search a lifetime before they
capture it. How do we discern between
God’s wisdom and our own?

Throughout Exodus, we see Moses seeking wisdom and God
leading the way. Are you willing to let
God lead you into the “land of milk and honey,” as He did with the
Israelites? Are you open to seeing Him fulfill
all the promises He has for you? I know
I am.

I know that I am not always going to make the right choices. But I will choose to seek wisdom and step out
in faith to follow His lead.

After all, God has been there, He knows the way.
