069: The Beauty of Growing Slow with Jennifer Dukes Lee

“It’s the little things that make us who we are!”

Stress. Anxiety. Constant headaches. Are you suffering from a life of hurry?

In this episode, Jennifer Dukes Lee shares from her newest book, Growing Slow: Lessons on Un-Hurrying Your Heart from an Accidental Farm Girl. Running full-force as a news reporter, Jennifer and her husband discovered that they could no longer sustain the pace of their city life. It was when they transitioned back to their family farm that God revealed the powerful gift of slowing down and recognizing the value in each season of life.

So many of us suffer from the constant pressure to produce results, hurry to the next stage in life, prove ourselves or be more than we are. But God never intended for His people to live that way. Jennifer shares how we can live the life we’ve been given without regrets when we learn to flourish in the season we are currently in.
