As Christians, we know we need to trust God but we don’t always know how. Using personal stories, Scripture, and an exploration of the life of David, Embracing Trust shows you how  to:

  • cultivate a deeper, more meaningful friendship with Jesus
  • let go of things that keep you from fully trusting in God
  • build an unshakeable faith that stands firm in troubling times,
  • leave a legacy of trust that blesses future generations

If you struggle with disappointment from the past, frustration with the present, or fear of the future, Joanna invites you to relinquish control and put your trust in a forever-faithful Father. For as you embrace trust in God, you’ll find yourself held by a Love that will never let you go.

The book also includes a 10-week companion Bible study.

From a fellow struggler…

I wish I could offer you three easy steps to become a victorious Christian…I’d love to answer the questions that keep you up at night wondering why bad things happen and God doesn’t seem to answer your prayers.…

Even if I could, it wouldn’t really help. For you and I don’t need another self-improvement plan or detailed answers to our hardest questions…we need Jesus. And here’s the good news! He can’t wait to make Himself real to you!

I hope the books and resources on this site help facilitate that process. For they come out of my own journey with Jesus and a deep desire to have an intimate friendship with Him.

I’m not an expert by any means—I’m a fellow struggler. As a perfectionist with the motivational gift of laziness, I’ve always struggled with spiritual disciplines. Coming from a long-line of Swedish worriers means that fear comes more easily to me than faith.

But every time I cooperate with grace and allow the Holy Spirit to get His hands on me, the Lord has brought victory to these and other areas of my life. And He wants to do the same for you.

I’d love to hear about your journey and touch hearts on social media, so be sure to visit the connect page. For we were never meant to do the Christian life alone. I can’t wait to journey deeper into Jesus with you!
