040: Loving Jesus With All Your Heart with Christine Hoover

“Where does your allegiance lie?”

In this episode, pastor’s wife and author, Christine Hoover, shares from her newest book, With All Your Heart: Living Joyfully Through Allegiance to King Jesus. After a difficult season of feeling grieved and starved for validation, God did a deep work in Christine’s heart. She began to recognize false allegiances that were keeping her from experiencing the peace and joy of living with a whole-hearted devotion to Christ.

It can be so easy to get caught up in self-reliance or seeking the approval of people and neglect our call to “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). But only Jesus deserves our allegiance and He alone satisfies!
