“Where does your allegiance lie?”
In this episode, pastor’s wife and author, Christine Hoover, shares from her newest book, With All Your Heart: Living Joyfully Through Allegiance to King Jesus. She began to recognize false allegiances that were keeping her from experiencing the peace and joy of living with a whole-hearted devotion to Christ.
It can be so easy to get caught up in self-reliance or seeking the approval of people and neglect our call to “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). But only Jesus deserves our allegiance and He alone satisfies!
